Fruitography

In this cyanotype workshop we will analyze the organic characteristics of fruits and vegetables like the ones we eat. Exploring the translucency, internal structure, colour and form, we will create images recorded by direct contact with paper, with a technique of historical photographic printing that invites to experimentation, both visual and physical-chemical of materials.

PROGRAMME:

Presentation, selection and preparation (cutting) of fruits and vegetables that will be worked in the workshop
Introduction to alternative photographic processes
Preparation of the materials to be printed
Sensitize of papers
Exposure of materials to UV light
Disclosure of prints
Analysis of the results
