The Lisbon Architecture Triennale was founded in 2007 and is an open platform for debate, research and promotion of contemporary architecture. In addition to the international architecture forum we organize every three years, the association has a regular, ongoing activity programme and also produces other events throughout the year, such as the Open House Lisboa and the conferentes Critical Distance. Apart from these activities, we also operate an architecture centre with its own programme at our headquarters.
The event takes place in several places in Lisbon, from museums such as MAAT, MNAC, Garagem Sul–CCB, Gulbenkian, Sinel de Cordes Palace and cultural centers of reference of the city, to temporary places. See the locations on the map
The team led by Éric Lapierre as chief curator, consists of Sébastien Marot, Ambra Fabi, Giovanni Piovene, Fosco Lucarelli, Mariabruna Fabrizi, Laurent Esmilaire and Tristan Chadney. This curatorial proposal results from an international open call.
From 3 to 5 October, the opening days offer all visitors the opening of the central exhibitions, during the three days, among other moments of celebration and meeting with architecture. You can consult the calendar of events in the menu.
During the opening period, all events have free admission. After that, passes and tickets can be purchased online and at the institutions hosting the programme.
The activities are grouped into Children and Families, Schools and Groups, and Young People and Adults. They almost always require registration by e-mail: actividades@trienaldelisboa.com.
