Guided Tour by Álvaro Domingues

In the context of the exhibition Agriculture and Architecture: From the Country’s Side showcased at CCB – Garagem Sul, we propose a special guided tour with the Portuguese geographer and teacher Álvaro Domingues.

In addition to his teaching duties at the University of Oporto and other universities, he regularly publishes texts and books focused on issues related to urban geography, urban planning and landscape. Some of his recent publications are A Rua da Estrada (Dafne publisher, 2009), Políticas Urbanas I and Políticas Urbanas II (with Nuno Portas and João Cabral, Gulbenkian Foundation, 2003 and 2011), Cidade e Democracia (argumentum, 2006), Vida no Campo (Dafne publisher, 2012) and Território Casa Comum (with Nuno Travasso, FAUP, Porto, 2015).
