Lisbon Triennale Millennium bcp Début Award

The name Début defines its goal: recognize a practice whose artistic consolidation is still under construction, but whose thinking and approach are so relevant that its authors could be driven to success. New voices, new ways of thinking and new concepts that bring a fresh face to architecture: Début. We’re delighted to announce the winner for Triennale 2019: Bonell+Dòriga (Spain)

Lisbon Triennale Millennium bcp Début is awarded after an independent selection that goes through two distinct phases. There is also a call for self-proposals. At the same time, the Triennale invites dozens of international architects to nominate up to three names each that they consider worthy of the award. Both the self-proposals and the nominations submit the same materials for evaluation. The set of proposals is made available to the jury, whose composition includes seven personalities from various continents and who select the list of finalists as well as the winner or the winner.
