The Countryside in the City – Urban Permaculture
This workshop is an introduction to the fundamentals of Permaculture and its applications in urban context. A set of agricultural and social principles, it offers practical tools that inspire solutions to day-to-day challenges. It also proposes a design method for sustainable, socially just and ecologically healthy human habitats, as an alternative to current land planning practices. The programme of these two days has a strong component, both practical and of observation of HortaFCUL, and includes a theoretical introduction that addresses the context and genesis of Permaculture, its principles, techniques and practice.
