A Vida Portuguesa

A store chain inspired by old portuguese grocery stores, born from the desire to catalogue national brands that have survived through the years, valuing the quality of Portuguese manufactured production. The products come from the north to the south of the country, timeless or crossing generations, keeping their original packaging. Since November 2016, the space located at Rua Nova do Almada is the headquarters, warehouse, archive and research centre of this project. In the early 1900s, it housed the Hércules aero-engine factory, producing windmills used to pump water, whose depictions are still found in the tiles that decorate the building’s façade.
