MNAC – National Museum of Contemporary Art

Based in Lisbon’s downtown, in the historical district of Chiado, the National Museum of Contemporary Art – Museu do Chiado is set in the space of the secular convent of São Francisco da Cidade. The collection and permanent exhibition of the Museum dives into the history of art in Portugal, from 1850 until today. It’s the most important national art collection and an valuable museological cluster on contemporary Portuguese production.
